Vessel Examinations

One of the four cornerstones of the Coast Guard Auxiliary is the Vessel Examination program. Vessel Examinations are provided free of charge to the boating public. Successful completion of a vessel exam entitles the boat owner to a VE Seal of Safety decal. Boats that fail to meet the requirement are NOT reported to any law enforcement agency.

2009 Vessel Safety Check Decals are now available and may be obtained by contacting the VE officer at the number below.
