Operations

The 2008 operations season is now well underway. Boat crews are needed for a number of upcoming patrols. If interewted, contact the Operations Officer John Carey .

Members interested in becoming crew or coxswain qualified should contact the Operations Officer John Carey or the Member Training Officer Bob Maxfieldfor study materials.

As of 01 January 2008, the allotment for meals while underway on patrols has been upped to the following:

$ 2.10 for breakfast and $3.85 for Lunch and dinner. Keep this in mind when providing meal allowances for your boat crews this coming season.

The National Operations page listed below provides a link to download several manuals including the Boat Brew Seamanship Manual, the Coxswain SAR Guide, the Rescue and Survival Manual and several more useful operations guides and manuals. it would be to the advantage of all boat crews and coxswains to review these guides and have them available for reference when needed.
