The Coast Guard Auxiliary has been tasked with assisting the Coast Guard and other government and private agencies with reporting ATON and PATON discrepancies. Reporting forms are available from the National website.
Flotilla 12-02 members conducted a series of ATON patrols in April, May, and June, covering the lower Virginia Inside Passage and from Fisherman's Island north to Occohannock Creek. Nearly 30 chart corrections and STON discrepancies were reported.
